Song - Hail to the king

Band - Avenged Sevenfold

General Idea

The general idea would be to have several people with the same instruments as the people in the real music video playing along to the track. In order to ensure I am not copying the music video I have the idea of cutting to the singer who is walking through a street whilst singing. Perhaps have him wear a crown for the chorus "HAIL TO THE KING!" and have people bowing to him.

Band - Ghost

General Idea

Follow the lyrics, and cut to a band playing this music now and again. For example a guy with a crown who is the emboidyment of the devil. The lyrics "Lifting up to kiss his crown" have people kiss his crown. The band in the music video would be dressed in cloaks and masks.

Song - I ain't hidin'

Band - Black Crowes

General Idea

Again follow the lyrics and cut to a band playing the song everyso often. However instead of having a moving image of the lyric following, use black and white snapshots of the scene. For example "Blood on the stage" There would be a black and white picture of someone with a nose bleed on the stage. The solo could have snaps of people dancing in reaction to the music. Keep the snapshots in time with the music, a new one every 2 bars. Then from 4:15, the snapshots slowly get faster and faster until 4:47 when it transitions to a full video. The after the song calms down it transitions back to snapshots. End with someone smashing an instrument but cut before it hits the ground.


 

Chosen Video idea 3

Reason for choice

Easier to play and perform. No real music video to compare to it is completely original. Has the most creative ideas that are achieveable. The camera work would actually be easier to cut images in rather than other videos.
